HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-72-0186RESOLUTION NO. 72-186 A RESOLUTION AGAIN URGING THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA TO GIVE SERIOUS CONSIDERATION TO THE TRAFFIC HAZARD ASSOCIATED WITH DRAINAGE CONDITIONS ON SOUTH DIXIE HIGHWAY IN THE CITY OF MIAMI, PARTICULARLY IN THE AREA OF SW 17TH TO 19TH AVENUES WHEREAS, the City Commission of Miami, Florida, heretofore adopted a resolution urging the Florida Department of Trans- portation to give serious consideration to the traffic hazard associated with drainage conditions on South Dixie Highway in the City of Miami, particularly in the area of SW 17th to 19th Avenues; and WHEREAS, accidents continue to occur in this area as a re- sult of said adverse drainage conditions; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: That it again urges the Department of Transportation of the State of Florida to give serious consideration to the traffic hazard associated with drainage conditions on South Dixie Highway in the City of Miami, particularly in the area of SW 17th to 19th Avenues. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of May, 1972. ry },
