RESOLUTION NO. 72-t79
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE FROM
ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE XXVI, SECTION 2
(43), TO PERMIT CONSTRUCTION OF PUMP HOUSE
AND WADING POOL 22-FEET FROM BASE BUILDING
LINE (31.63' REQUIRED AS SPECIAL YARD
DISTRICT), WITH A WALL NOT TO EXCEED 6-FEET
IN HEIGHT ON BASE BUILDING LINE, ON LOT 42,
SILVER BLUFF AMD (1-158), LOCATED AT 1835
SOUTH BAYSHORE DRIVE, IN AN R-1 (ONE -FAMILY)
DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of
Miami, at its meeting held on April 10, 1972, passed and
adopted by a 9 to 0 vote its Resolution No. 72-81, recommend-
ing granting a variance from Ordinance No. 6871, Article XXVI,
Section 2 (43), as hereinafter set forth; and this Commission
deems it advisable in the interest of the general welfare of
the City of Miami to grant this variance requested on the
ground that a refusal would result in practical difficulties
and unnecessary hardship to the applicant under an R-1 (One -
Family) District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the application for a variance from
Ordinance No. 6871, Article XXVI, Section 2 (43), to permit
construction of pump house and wading pool 22-feet from base
building line (31.63' required as special yard district), with
a wall not to exceed 6-feet in height on the base building line,
on Lot 42, SILVER BLUFF AMD, Plat Book 1, Page 158, located at
1835 South Bayshore Drive, in an R-1 (One -Family) District, be

Commission.
