ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING CHANGES Or ZONING CLASSI-
FICATIONS FOR THE AREA BOUNDED ON THE NORTH BY
THE CITY LIMITS, ON THE WEST BY N.W. 57TH AVENUE,
ON THE SOUTH BY N.W. 5TH STREET, AND ON THE EAST
BY N.W. 47TH AVENUE, AS SHOWN ON THE MAP OF PRO-
POSED ZONING ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART
HEREOF, ALSO ATTACHED IS MAP OF EXISTING ZONING;
\ AND BY MAKING THE NECESSARY CHANGES IN THE ZONING
f► DISTRICT MAP MADE A PART OF SAID ORDINANCE NO.
\6871 BY REFERENCE AND DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE III,
'$ECTION 2, THEREOF; REPEALING ALL LAWS IN CONFLICT
REWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE
IN.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of
Miami, at its Apeting held on February 7, 1972, passed and
adopted by an 8 tip 0 vote its Resolution No. 72-33, and on
March 6, 1972 passed and adopted by a 7 to 0 vote its Resolu-
tion No. 72-54, both'`xecommending changes in zoning classifi-
cations, as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable in the best interest of
the general welfare of the%city of Miami and its inhabitants to
grant changes in zoning classifications, as hereinafter set
forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:

Section 1. That Ordinance No. (4371, the Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance for the City of Miami,''be and the same is
hereby amended by changing the zoning cla4ifications for the
area bounded on the North by the Miami City \imits, on the
West by N.W. 57th Avenue, on the South by N.W.'§nth Street,
and on the East by N.W. 47th Avenue, in accordant with the
map of proposed zoning attached hereto and made a p t hereof,
also attached is map of existing zoning; and by makin the

necessary changes in the zoning district map made a part of
said Ordinance No. 6871 by reference and description in
Article III, Section 2, thereof.
Section 2. That all laws, or parts of laws, in
conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed
insofar as they are in conflict.
Section 3. It is declared to be the legislative
intent of this body that if any section, subsection, sen-
tence, phrase or provision of this Ordinance is held invalid,
the remainder of the Ordinance shall not be affected.
