RESOLUTION NO.7 ' P
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID RECEIVED
APRIL 25, 1972 OF FLORIDA UNDERGROUND
UTILITIES, INC., IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT
OF $18,283.00 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
LE JEUNE GARDENS STORM SEWER OUTFALL -
1972; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $20,477.00
FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "STORM SEWER
BOND FUND"; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, bids were received April 25, 1972 for the
construction of the LeJeune Gardens Storm Sewer Outfall -
1972; and
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $20,477.00 are
available for allocation from the account entitled "Storm
Sewer Bond Fund"; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
Florida Underground Utilities, Inc. is the lowest bid
(acceptable) and recommends that contract be awarded to
said company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of Florida Underground Utilities,
Inc., received April 25, 1972 for the LeJeune Gardens Storm
Sewer Outfall - 1972, namely Base Bid of Proposal, based on
lump sum bid, at a total estimated cost of $18,283.00 be and
the same is hereby accepted.

Section 2. The amount of $20,477.00 is hereby
allocated from the account entitled "Storm Sewer Bond
Fund".
Section 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to enter into a contract in behalf of the
City of Miami with Florida Underground Utilities, Inc.,
for the LeJeune Gardens Storm Sewer Outfall - 1972.
