A RESOLUTION REQUESTING METROPOLITAN
DADE COUNTY AND THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT
OF TRANSPORTATION TO CONDUCT A JOINT
PUBLIC HEARING OF THE HIGHWAY IMPROVE-
MENTS PROPOSED FOR 62ND STREET; FURTHER
REQUESTING THAT THE COUNTY AND THE FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION USE EVERY
POSSIBLE MEANS TO ADVERTISE THE PUBLIC
MEETING DATE, THEREBY ENCOURAGING SIGNIFI-
CANT PUBLIC PARTICIPATION.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Commission hereby requests Metropolitan
Dade County and the Florida Department of Transportation to conduct
a Joint Public Hearing of the Highway Improvements proposed for 62nd
Street.
Section 2. That it is further requested that the County and the
Florida Department of Transportation use every possible means to
advertise the public meeting date, thereby encouraging significant
public participation.
