HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-72-0152RHT/f 1 4/3/72 A13 p a/ _rr li=1 ; .44 z RESOLUTION NO. 72 oyez I A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO PAY TO EDWARD KATZ, WITHOUT THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE SUM OF $ 100.00 IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETTLE- MENT OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF A RELEASE RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS. WHEREAS, EDWARD KATZ, owner of the yacht Charisma, filed a claim against the City of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $100.00 when on December 24, 1971, a City employee forced a 110 Volt Adapter into a 220 Volt outlet on the yacht Charisma, causing damage to the electrical system; WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office of the City Attorney and said r,fiice recommends that this claim be settled for the sum of $100.00; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized to pay to MR. EDWARD KATZ, without the admission of liability, the sum of $100.00 in full and complete settlement of all claims and demands against the City of Miami, upon the execution of a release releasing the City of Miami from all claims and demands.
