RESOLUTION NO.474,014
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO HELEN SCHARRER,
WITHOUT THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE
SUM OF $570.69 IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETTLE-
MENT OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE
CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF A
RELEASE RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM
ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, HELEN SCHARRER filed a claim against
the City of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $570.69;
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the
office of the City Attorney and said office recommends that
this claim be settled for the sum of $570.69 for damages in-
curred when Claimant tripped on an uneven sidewalk flags and
broke her wrist, at the West side of N.W. 13 Avenue and 14th
Street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and
he is hereby authorized to pay to HELEN SCHARRER,
without the admission of liability, the sum of $570.69 in full
and complete settlement of all claims and demands against the
City of Miami, upon the execution of a release releasing the
City of Miami from all claims and demands.
