A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR Or
FINANCE TO PAY TO LESTER GREEN, JR.
WITHOUT THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE
SUM OF $2fl0.00 IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETTLE-
MENT OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE
CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF A •
RELEASE RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM
ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, LESTER GREEN, JR. filed a claim against
the City of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $280.00;
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the
office of the City Attorney and said office recommends that
this claim be settled for the sum of $280.00 in reimbursement
for expenses incurred when a police dog bit Cornelius Green
in the vicinity of his ribs, being the son of the Claimant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and
he is hereby authorized to pay to LESTER GREEN, JR., without
the admission of liability, the sum of $2B0.00; in full
and complete settlement of all claims and demands against
the City of Miami, upon the execution of a release releasing
the City of Miami from all claims and demands.
