A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER TO
THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
A "UTILITY RELOCATION MASTER AGREEMENT" FOR RE-
LOCATION OF CITY -OWNED FACILITIES ON PROPOSED
STATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM; AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK
TO SEND TWO CERTIFIED COPIES OF THE RESOLUTION TO
THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.
WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Transportation has
requested the City of Miami to execute a "Utility Relocation
Master Agreement" for all future State Highway projects
which may require relocation of City -owned facilities, and
WHEREAS, the Agreement will cover non -reimbursable
projects only, and will be separate from the Joint Project
Agreements, which also may be executed for an individual
project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager and City Clerk be, and they
are hereby, authorized and directed to enter into an agree-
ment with the Florida Department of Transportation, a copy
of said agreement being attached hereto and made a part
hereof, covering all future non -reimbursable State Highway
projects.
Section 2. The City Clerk be directed to provide two
certified copies of this resolution for the Florida Department
of Transportation.
