RESOLUTION NO.741!
A RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION, AS PROVIDED
IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE IV, SECTION 36
(1), FOR BUILDINGS LOCATED AT 1341 N.W. 7TH
STREET; 720, 740, 750, 760, 780 AND 790 N.W. 13TH
COURT; MIAMI RIVER COMPLEX (92-39); AND ORIGIN-
ALLY CONSTRUCTED FOR APARTMENTS, TO BE USED FOR
HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT OFFICES, LOCATED
IN AN R-5 (HIGH DENSITY MULTIPLE) DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of
Miami, at its meeting held on April 24, 1972, passed and
adopted by a 9 to 0 vote its Resolution No. 72-97, recommend-
ing granting permission, as provided in Ordinance No. 6871,
Article IV, Section 36 (1), as hereinafter set forth; and this
Commission deems it advisable in the interest of the general
welfare of the City of Miami to grant this permission requested
on the ground that a refusal would result in practical diffi-
culties and unnecessary hardship to the applicant under an
R-5 (High Density Multiple) District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the application for permission, as
provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article IV, Section 36 (1),
for buildings located at 1341 N. W. 7th Street; 720, 740, 750,
760, 780 and 790 N. W. 13th Court; MIAMI RIVER COMPLEX, Plat
Book 92, Page 39, and originally constructed for apartments,
to be used for Housing and Urban Development offices, located
in an R-5 (High Density Multiple) District, be and the same is
hereby granted.

following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No. 72-97 by a
9 to 0 vote recommending permission, as listed in Ordinance No. 6871,
ARTICLE IV, Section 36 (1), for buildings located in MIAMI RIVER
COMPLEX (92-39), being 1341 N. W. 7th Street: 720, 740, 750, 760,
780 and 790 N. W. 14th Court, and originally constructed for apart-
ments, to be used for Housing and Urban Development offices; zoned
R-5 (High Density Multiple).
One objection was received in the mail.
A RESOLUTION to provide for this Public Building Use has been pre-
pared by the City Attorney's office and submitted for consideration
of the City Commission.
