HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-72-0104RHT/fl 44VA 12 PM 4. 17 RESOLUTION NO. 702 J/07 A RESOLUTION INSTRUCTING THE PLANNING AND AND ZONING BOARD TO IMPLEMENT PROCEEDINGS TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 6871, TO PROVIDE THAT ALL USERS OF TRAILERS ON PRIVATE AND PUBLIC PROPERTY, OTHER THAN FOR RESIDENTIAL PURPOSES, MUST MAKE APPLICATION TO THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD POR USE PERMITS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Miami is hereby instructed to implement proceedings to amend Ordinance No. 6871, the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for the City of Miami, to provide that all users of trailers on private and public property, other than for residential purposes, must make application to the Planning and Zoning Board for Use Permits. Section 2. The Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Miami is hereby instructed that specifically, a new Para- graph (5) be added to Section 8 of Article IV, of Ordinance No. 6871, to read as follows: (5) Temporary use and location of a mobile home or trailer for office use only may be authorized as a Conditional Use in any commercial or industrial district, subject tp the following conditions: 1. Approval shall be granted for a one year period from the date the trailer is situated on the site. 2. The establishment of the trailer shall comply with all applicable City and County Codes governing the use of trailers or mobile homes. 3. The use, limitations on uses, yards, and off-street requirements shall be complied with in accord with the district in which the temporary trailer use is established. • 0 INDEX 454 -CET coMriisstoH M .EflNG OT. ` APR 2p1972 4. Compliance with other visual or physical conditions deemed necessary after review of the application and the surrounding area by the Building Department, Public Works Department, Planning Department and Planning and Zoning Board.
