A RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL, AS PROVIDED
IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE XIII, SECTION
4, TO PERMIT ERECTION OF SIGNS AT PLANNED
SHOPPING CENTER, PREVIOUSLY APPROVED BY
RESOLUTION NO. 42302, PASSED AND ADOPTED ON
MARCH 11, 1971, SIGN TO BE AS DESCRIBED BY
PLANS ON FILE AT PLANNING BOARD OFFICE,
SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING RESTRICTIONS: 25'
HEIGHT LIMIT, IDENTIFICATION OF SHOPPING CENTER
NAME ONLY, LANDSCAPED TREATMENT AT SIGN BASE
AS APPROVED BY THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT; BEING
AIRPARX PLAZA (92-35), LOCATED AT N.W. CORNER
N.W. 7TH STREET AND 57TH AVENUE, IN A C-1A
(PLANNED SHOPPING CENTER) DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board for the City of
Miami, at its meeting held on April 10, 1972, passed and
adopted by a 9 to 0 vote its Resolution No. 72-82 recommend-
ing approval, as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article XIII,
Section 4, as hereinafter set forth; and this Commission deems
it advisable in the interest of the general welfare of the
City of Miami to grant this approval requested on the ground
that a refusal would result in practical difficulties and
unnecessary hardship to the applicant'under a C-1A (Planned
Shopping Center) District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the application for approval as provided
in Ordinance No. 6871, Article XIII, Section 4, to permit
erection of signs at Planned Shopping Center, previously
approved by Resolution No. 42302, passed and adopted March 11,
1971, sign to

be as described by plans on file at Planning

Gentlemen:
The, Miami _Planning, Boards at its meeting of Aril 10, 1972, Item
#3,__following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No. 72-82
by a 9 to 0 vote recommending approval as listed in Ordinance No.
6871, ARTICLE XIII, Section 4, to permit erection of sign at
Planned Shopping Center, previously approved by Resolution No.
42302, sign to be as described by plans on file at Planning Board
office; subject to the following restrictions: 25-feet height
limit, identification of shopping center name only, landscape
treatment at sign base, as approved by the Planning Department;
described as AIRPARK PLAZA (92-35), located at N. W. corner N. W.
7th Street and 57th Avenue.
No objections were received in the mail.
A RESOLUTION to provide for the Use in C-lA has been prepared by
the City Attorney's office and submitted for consideration of the
City Commission.
