A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE FROM
ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE VI, SECTION
3 (3), TO PERMIT CONSTRUCTION OF ADDITION
TO EXISTING SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE, ON
LOT 13, BLOCK 6, COMFORT GARDENS 1ST ADDN.
(7-40), WITH 5' REAR SETBACK (20' REQU*RED),
LOCATED AT 1129 N. W. 33RD AVENUE, IN AN
R-2 (TWO-FAMILY) DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board of the City
of Miami, at its meeting held on March 6, 1972, passed
and adopted by a 7 to 1 vote its Resolution No. 72-58,
recommending granting a variance from Ordinance No. 6871,
Article VI, Section 3 (3), as hereinafter set forth; and
this Commission deems it advisable in the interest of the
general welfare of the City of Miami to grant this variance
requested on the ground that a refusal would result in
practical difficulties and unnecessary hardship to the
applicant under an R-2 (Two -Family) District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the application for a variance from
Ordinance No. 6871, Article VI, Section 3 (3), to permit
construction of addition to existing single family residence,
on Lot 13, Block 6, COMFORT GARDENS 1ST ADDN., Plat Book 7,
Page 40, with 5' rear setback (20' required), located at
1129 N. W. 33rd Avenue, in an R-2 (Two -Family) District,
