MANN=- bi PA tTMENT RECOMMENDATION: i=AYYt[OVAlif.
The subject street Is presently de irate to a width
of 20 feet and the proposed Zoned width, of 30 feet is
the maximum practical width for this one block long
segment. The plat and Street Committee has recommended
approval of this item.
M, Simpson: I would like toannounceto the toard that the
problem on this particular street came to the attention of our office.
We took it to the Plat and Street. Committee, and they recommended that
this be approved, at its presently zoned width, of 30'.
We informed the owners of the property adjacent, and they
petitioned for this use. I would imagine there is someone here.
Rev. Wright: Is there anyone here to testify? All right.
Mr. Natina: My name is Richard Natina, I own the property
at 7251 N. Miami Avenue.
It's my request that this .Board would grant us this revision.
I have the property that runs from North Miami Avenue, to North Miami
Court. And, by granting this, you will permit us to have ample parking
space for our customers and our employees.
Rev. Wright: Okay, it's approved. We will close the public
hearing, and have a discussion among the Board Members. Mrs. McGraner,
this is in your district.
Mrs. McGraner: Mr. Chairman, and Board Members, I have observed
this parcel of land, it is just a small, little strip, in there.
And, therefore, I am going to accept the Planning Staff's
recommendation. May I read it? "The subject street is presently
dedicated to a width of 20 feet, and the proposed zoned width of
30 feet is the maximum paractical width for this one block long
segment. The Plat and Street Committee has recommended approval of
this item."
Mrs. Callahan: I will second it.
Rev. Wright: The motion is to recommend.
One objection was received in the mail.
