RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS NOT TO EXCEED A
TOTAL OF $2, 548 FOR BIDS RECEIVED FOR PUBLIC
ADDRESS SYSTEM AND TAPE RECORDER IN THE
PUBLIC MEETING ROOM IN CITY HALL; AND TIME
RECORDER AND COPY MACHINE RENTAL FOR THE
CITY CLERK'S OFFICE; FURTHER PROVIDING
TRANSFER OF $1, 875 FROM THE CITY MANAGER'S
BUDGET TO SUPPLEMENT $673 OF BUDGETED FUNDS
TO PROVIDE FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAID EQUIPMENT.
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing the components
necessary for the overhauling of the public address system in the City
Commission Meeting Room in the amount of $1, 489. 98; and
WHEREAS, a quotation was received for a tape recorder for
use in the Commission Meeting Room at a cost of $385; and
WHEREAS, a quotation was received for a time recorder for
use in the City Clerk's office at a cost of $223; and
WHEREAS, a quotation was received for copying service for
the City Clerk's office in the amount of $450;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received for furnishing the components
necessary for the overhauling of the public address system in the City
Commission Meeting Room in the amount of $1, 489. 98 is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The quotation for a tape recorder for use in the
Commission Meeting Room at a cost of $385 is hereby accepted.
Section 3. The quotation for a time recorder for use in the
City Clerk's office in the amount of $223 is hereby accepted.
Section 4. The quotation for copying service for the City
Clerk's office in the amount of $450 is hereby accepted.
Section 5. The proper officers of the City of Miami are
hereby authorized and directed to transfer the amount of $1, 875 from

the City Manager's Budget to supplement $673 of budgeted funds to
provide for the purchase of said equipment.
Section 6. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to issue purchase orders for the items described in Sections 1 through
4 hereof.
