A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
MI'fCHELL, PETTY & SHETTERLY TO DRAW ALL
NECESSARY LEGAL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO
TO VALIDATE AND OFFER FOR SALE $39,890,000.
PUBLIC PARK AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES
BONDS HERETOFORE APPROVED BY THE QUALIFIED
ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
WHEREAS, the firm of Mitchell, Petty & Shetterly
has previously drawn all legal documents heretofore re-
quired to place before the qualified electors of the City
of Miamd the question of whether $39,890,000. of Public
Park and Recreational Facilities Bonds of the City shall
be issued; and
WHEREAS, at an election held on March 14, 1972 said
qualified electors of the City of Miami approved the issuance
of said bonds by a vote of 20,453 for issuance of the bonds
and 15,238 against the proposal;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the firm of Mitchell, Petty &
Shetterly, is hereby authorized and directed to draw all
necessary legal documents required to proceed expeditiously to
validate and offer at public sale $39,890,000. of Public Park
and Recreational Facilities Bonds of the City of Miami here-
tofore approved by the qualified electors at an election
held on March 14, 1972.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of April, 1972.
