A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF GRAYBAR
ELECTRIC CO., RECEIVED ON MARCH 22, 1972, FOR
FURNISHING 84 LIGHT FIXTURES AND 264 LAMPS AT
A TOTAL COST OF $1,636.12, FORTY OF THESE FIXTURES
TO BE INSTALLED IN THE SECOND FLOOR OF THE PUBLIC
WORKS DEPARTMENT BEGINNING APRIL 13, 1972, AND THE
REMAINING FORTY-FOUR FOR USE IN A LIGHTING IMPROVE-
MENT PROJECT SCHEDULED FOR THE NEXT QUARTER YEAR;
AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING AGENT TO ISSUE A PURCHASE
ORDER THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, bids were received on March 22, 1972, for
furnishing 84 light fixtures and 264 lamps, forty of these
fixtures to be installed in the second floor of the Public
Works Department beginning April 13, 1972, and the remain-
ing forty-four for use in a lighting improvement scheduled
for the next quarter year; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
Graybar Electric Co., at a total cost of $1,636.12, be accept-
ed as the bid most advantageous to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of Graybar Electric Co., received
on March, 1972, for furnishing 84 light fixtures and 264
lamps, at a total cost of $1,636.12, forty of these fixtures
to be installed in the second floor of the Public Works
Department beginning April 13, 1972, and the remaining forty-
four for use in a lighting improvement scheduled for the next
quarter year is hereby accepted and the City Manager is
authorized and directed to instruct the purchasing agent
