A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BIDS RECEIVED
MARCH 21, 1972 OF VARIOUS FIRMS AS ENUM-
ERATED HEREIN FOR SUPPLYING FURNISHINGS
FOR THE NEW FIRE STATION #3 AT 1103 N. W.
7TH STREET, MIAMI, FLORIDA, AT A TOTAL
COST OF $9,506.53; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT
OF $9,506.53 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED
"FIRE FIGHTING AND RESCUE FACILITIES BOND
FUND"; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING
AGENT OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO ISSUE PUR-
CHASE ORDERS THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, bids were received on March 21, 1972, by the
City Manager and City Clerk for supplying furnishings for
the new Fire Station #3, located at 1103 N. W. 7th Street,
Miami, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bids
submitted by various firms as listed herein, are the best
(acceptable) bids and that same be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bids received March 21, 1972, of
the following firms, of the following furnishings, and in
the following amounts:

at 1103 N. W. 7th Street, Miami, Florida, at a total cost of
$9,506.53, be, and the same are, hereby accepted.
Section 2.
The total amount of $9,506.53 be, and the same
is hereby allocated from the account entitled "FIRE FIGHTING AND
RESCUE FACILITIES BOND FUND".
Section 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to instruct the Purchasing Agent of the City of Miami
to issue purchase orders for the items described in Section 1
hereof.
