A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF AMERICAN OIL
CO. RECEIVED ON MARCH 21, 1972 FOR FURNISHING
AND DELIVERING APPROXIMATELY 4,450 GALLONS PER
MONTH, MORE OR LESS, OF 100 OCTANE LEAD FREE
GASOLINE TO THE FOURTEEN (14) FIRE STATIONS AS
REQUIRED, FROM MAY 1, 1972 TO APRIL 30, 1973, AT
A NET COST OF $0.325 PER GALLON, AND AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE
PURCHASING AGENT TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDER THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, bids were received on March 21, 1972, for
furnishing and delivering approximately 4,450 gallons per
month, more or less, of 100 octane lead free gasoline to
the fourteen (14) Fire Stations as required, from May 1,
1972 to April 30, 1973; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
American Oil Co., at a net cost of $0.325 per gallon, be
accepted as the bid most advantageous to the City;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of American Oil Co., received on
March 21, 1972, for furnishing and delivering approximately
4,450 gallons per month, more or less, of 100 octane lead
free gasoline to the fourteen (14) Fire Stations as required,
from May 1, 1972 to April 30, 1973, at a net cost of $0.325
per gallon is hereby accepted and the City Manager is author-
ized and directed to instruct the purchasing agent to issue
a purchase order therefor.
