A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF GALL'S POLICE
EQUIPMENT, RECEIVED ON MARCH 22, 1972, FOR FURN-
ISHING 2 TEAR GAS GUN KITS, 27 CARBINE RIFLES,
AND 20 SHOTGUNS, AT A TOTAL COST OF $3,484.58 FOR
USE BY THE PATROL SECTION OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT;
AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING AGENT TO ISSUE A PURCHASE
ORDER THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, bids were received on March 22, 1972, for
furnishing 2 tear gas gun kits, 27 carbine rifles, and
20 shotguns, for use by the Patrol Section of the Police
Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
Gall's Police Equipment, at a total cost of $3,484.58, be
accepted as the bid most advantageous to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of Gall's Police Equipment, received
on March 22, 1972, for furnishing 2 tear gas gun kits, 27
carbine rifles, and 20 shotguns, for use by the Patrol Sec-
tion of the Police Department, at a total cost of $3,484.58
is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized and
directed to instruct the purchasing agent to issue a purchase
order therefor.
