A RESOLUTION ORDERING CORAL WAY SOUTH
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4354 AND DESIGNATING
THE PROPERTY AGAINST WHICH SPECIAL ASSESS-
MENTS SHALL BE MADE FOR A PORTION OF THE
COST THEREOF AS CORAL WAY SOUTH HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT H-4354; AND ALLOCATING THE
AMOUNT OF $3,000 FROM THE HIGHWAY GENERAL
OBLIGATION BOND FUND FOR PRELIMINARY EXPENSE.
WHEREAS, the property in the Coral Way area
between S. W. 32 and 37 Avenues has developed rapidly
as an entertainment, restaurant and shopping area;
and
WHEREAS, there is a need to widen the existing
pavement and provide curb and gutter for vehicular
and pedestrian safety;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A local Improvement described as
CORAL WAY SOUTH HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4354 shall be
made under Section 56 of the Charter of The City of
Miami as amended, located on Coral Way (S.W. 22 Street)
between S.W. 32 and 37 Avenues.
Section 2. This Improvement shall include
clearing and grading, construction of asphaltic con-
crete pavement consisting of 8 inch limerock base and
a 1 inch asphalt surface course, concrete curb and

gutter, construction of 4 inch concrete sidewalk at
intersections and 6 inch concrete sidewalks at drive-
ways, some drainage facilities and solid grass sodding
of the side parkway as specified and described in the
Standard City of Miami Specifications for Public Works
Projects.
Section 3. This Improvement shall be designated
in all proceedings and assessments as CORAL WAY SOUTH
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4354 and the property against
which special assessments shall be made for a portion
of the cost thereof, hereunder, shall be designated as
CORAL WAY SOUTH HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4354.
Section 4. The sum of $3,000 is allocated from
the Highway General Obligation Bond Fund for preliminary
expense.
