RESOLUTION NO.72415
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE
TO REMOVE ALL PENDING LIENS FOR N. W. 17 AVENUE
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4293 IN N. W. 17 AVENUE
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4293 AND FOR SIDE-
WALK IMPROVEMENT SK-145-A IN SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT SK-145-A NOT HERETOFORE CERTIFIED.
WHEREAS, on October 10, 1968, the Commission adopted
Resolution No. 40033 ordering N. W. 17 AVENUE HIGHWAY IM-
PROVEMENT H-4293 and on November 25, 1968, the Commission
adopted Resolution No. 40169 ordering SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT
SK-145-A; and
WHEREAS, on January 23, 1969, the Commission adopted
Resolution No. 40297 allocating $76,000 from Highway Im-
provement Bond Fund, confirming ordering Resolution No.
40033 and authorizing the City Clerk to advertise for
sealed bids for the construction of N. W. 17 AVENUE HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT H-4293; and
WHEREAS, on January 23, 1969, the Commission adopted
Resolution No. 40298 allocating $8,560 from Sidewalk Bond
Funds, confirming ordering Resolution No. 40169 and author-
izing the City Clerk to advertise for sealed bids for the
construction of SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT SK-145-A; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 56, as amended, of
the Charter of the City of Miami, the Tax Collector has
placed pending liens against all the properties included in
the N. W. 17 AVENUE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4293 and
SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SK-145-A; and
WHEREAS, the highway and sidewalk improvements included

in N. W. 17 AVENUE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT and in SIDEWALK IM-
PROVEMENT SK-145-A have been constructed by the State of
Florida Department of Transportation at no cost to the
abutting property owners, and the balance of funds in each
project has been returned to the respective accounts; and
WHEREAS, it is therefore expedient and proper for all
pending liens for N. W. 17 AVENUE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4293
and SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT SK-145-A not heretofore certified
under Section 56, as amended, of the City Charter to be
cancelled and removed;.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Director of Finance of the City of Miami
be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to remove any
and all pending liens for N. W. 17 AVENUE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
H-4293 in N. W. 17 AVENUE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4293
and for SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT SK-145-A in SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT SK-145-A not heretofore certified.
