A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER TO
THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
A JOINT PROJECT AGREEMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER MANHOLE
RIM ADJUSTMENTS ON N. 36 STREET BETWEEN N.W. 27
AVENUE AND N.E. 2 AVENUE; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK
TO SEND FIVE CERTIFIED COPIES OF THIS RESOLUTION TO
THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION;
ALLOCATING $3700.00 TO COVER THE COST OF THE WORK;
AND AUTHORIZING DISBURSEMENT OF SAID $3700.00.
WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Transporta-
tion proposes to resurface N. 36 Street between N.W. 27
Avenue and N.E. 2 Avenue; and
WHEREAS, there are approximately thirty-seven sanitary
manhole rims which may need adjusting to meet the revised
street grade; and
WHEREAS, it is estimated that the total cost for sani-
tary sewer rim adjustments will be $3700.00 and funds are
available for allocation from the Sanitary Sewer Modification
and Adjustment account;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager and City Clerk be, and
they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute and
deliver a joint project agreement with the State of Florida
Department of Transportation, a copy of which Agreement is
attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof;
said Agreement covering approximately thirty-seven sanitary
sewer manhole adjustments which may be required on N. 36
Street between N. W. 27 Avenue and N. E. 2 Avenue, said
