RESOLUTION NO. 72-18
A RESOLUTION CLOSING, VACATING, ABANDONING
AND DISCONTINUING FOR PUBLIC USE THE REMAIN-
ING PORTION OF A CUL-DE-SAC ADJOINING LOTS 39
AND 40, ACADIA SUBDIVISION, ON THE SOUTH SIDE,
TOGETHER WITH A 10 FOOT STRIP OF LAND LYING
BETWEEN SAID LOTS 39 AND 40, SUBJECT TO REPLAT-
TING OF THE AREA, AND SUBJECT TO RECORDING
FORMAL PLAT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the remaining portion of a Cul-de-Sac
adjoining Lots 39 and 40, ACADIA SUBDIVISION, on the South
side, together with a 10 foot strip of land lying between
said Lots 39 and 40, subject to replatting of the area, be
and the same is hereby closed, vacated, abandoned and dis-
continued for public use, subject to recording formal plat.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of April, 1972.

mending denial of etition for official closure and vacation,

as hereinafter set rth; and
WHEREAS, it is daemed advisable in the best interest of
the general welfare of \he City of Miami and its inhabitants
to approve the official c`osure and vacation, as hereinafter
set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT R4OLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That that portidp of Tropical Trail (N. E.
70th Street) East of the East lot line of Lot 41, ACADIA SUB,

Plat Book 3, Page 216, and the remain portion of a Cul-De-
Sac, providing a dedicated return to N.\E. 69th Street, in
accordance with Tentative Plat #629-B, "TOPICAL TERRACE",
be and the same is hereby closed, vacated,'bandoned and
discontinued for public use, subject to reco ding formal plat.

Item #8, following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No.
72-45 by a 5 to 4 vote recommending DENIAL for Petition for the

lot line of Lot 41, ACADIA SUB (3-216), providing a dedicated
return to N. E. 69th Street, in accordance with Tentative Plat
#629-B - "TROPICAL TERRACE".
There were over 20% objections.
A RESOLUTION to provide for this Street Closure has been pre-
pared by the City Attorney's office and submitted for considera-
tion of the City Commission.
