A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED CONSTRUCTION
OF O'KEEFE ASPHALT PAVEMENTS, INC. FOR THE NORTH
GATE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4337 IN NORTH GATE
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4337 AT A TOTAL
COST OF $44,668.84 AND AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT
OF $4,560.84
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated August 3, 1971
between the City of Miami and O'Keefe Asphalt Pavements, Inc. for
the construction of NORTH GATE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4337; and
WHEREAS, The work has been satisfactorily completed
and O'Keefe Asphalt Pavements, Inc. has furnished the required
documents certifying that all bills for labor, materials, etc.,
have been paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City
Commission on April 6, 1972 to hear any objections to the completed
improvements and no objections were sustained; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends that
the completed work be accepted and final payment made to the Contractor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA
Section 1. That the completed work performed by O'Keefe
Asphalt Pavements, Inc. under contract dated August 3, 1971 for the
construction of NORTH GATE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4337 in NORTH GATE
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4337 be accepted at a total cost of
$44,668.84.
Section 2. That the proper officials of The City of Miami
be authorized and directed to pay O'Keefe Asphalt Pavements, Inc. a
balance of $4,560.84 as full and final payment for all work performed
and all materials furnished in connection with the contract for NORTH
