A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING $500, 000 FROM THE
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT CONSTRUCTION FUND
FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING PARK IMPROVE-
MENTS TO MOORE AND MANOR. PARKS; FURTHER
PROVIDING FOR THE REIMBURSEMENT OF FUNDS
TO THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT CONSTRUCTION
FUND UPON THE SALE OF THE PARKS AND REC-
REATIONAL BOND ISSUE OF 1972; FURTHER AUTHOR-
IZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PROCEED WITH THE
DEVELOPMENT OF A CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS
PROGRAM TO PROVIDE, WHEREVER POSSIBLE,
FOR RECREATION TYPE IMPROVEMENTS IN SAID
PARKS;
WHEREAS, Moore and Manor Community Parks have been
scheduled for extensive expanded development as provided in the Parks and
Recreational Bond Program; and
WHEREAS, the park and bond program validation and sale of
bonds is in progress; and
WHEREAS, the proposed park and recreation improvements are
needed at the earliest possible time so as to provide maximum recreational
facilities for the 1972 Summer Recreational Program; and
WHEREAS, $100, 000 previously allocated for acquisition of bay
front land under the Capital Improvement Construction Fund is no longer
needed for this purpose; and
WHEREAS, $400, 000 is available in the Capital Improvement
Construction Fund Unallocated; and
WHEREAS, the funds so utilized from the Capital Improvement
Construction Fund will be reimbursed to this Fund upon the sale of the Parks
and Recreational Bond Issue of 1972;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That $500, 000 be allocated from the Capital Improve-
ment Construction Fund for the purpose of providing park improvements to
Moore and Manor Parks.
Section 2. That provision be made for the reimbursement of
funds to the Capital Improvement Construction Fund upon the sale of the

Section 3. That the City Manager be authorized to proceed
with the development of a Capital Improvements Program to provide,
wherever possible, for recreation type improvements in id parks.
