A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY ATTORNEY OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
TO DEFEND DAVID C. WAUD, FORMER POLICE
OFFICER OF THE CITY OF MIAMI AGAINST
WHOM A CIVIL ACTION HAS BEEN BROUGHT.
WHEREAS, a civil action has been brought against
former police officer David C. Waud, in an action styled as
follows:
Doris M. Copeland, et al vs. City of
Miami, et al, Circuit Court #72-1486
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:.
Section 1. That the City Attorneycf the City of Miami
be and he is hereby authorized and directed to defend the above
named former police officer of the City of Miami against whom
a civil action has been brought.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this day day of March,. 1972.
