RESOLUTION NO. 9c c9 70-
A RESOLUTION CONVEYING TO THE STATE OF
FLORIDA FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF THE
DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND REHABILITATION
SERVICES, DIVISION OF CORRECTIONS, A
PORTION OF THE CITY OWNED STOCKADE PRO-
PERTY LOCATED IN SECTION 26, TOWNSHIP 53
SOUTH, RANGE 40 EAST, DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AS STIPULATED IN THE CITY DEED OF CONVEY-
ANCE ATTACHED HERETO; AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
AND DELIVER SAID DEED
WHEREAS, the State of Florida has requested the
City of Miami to convey a portion of the City owned stockade
property consisting of 1.5 acres of land on which the Depart-
ment of Health and Rehabilitation Services, Division of
Corrections will construct, maintain and operate a Rehabili-
tation Center;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA;
Section 1. That the City Manager and City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute and
deliver a City Deed of Conveyance to the State of Florida,
for the. use and benefit of the Department of Health and
Rehabilitation Services, Division of Corrections of a 1.5
acres portion of the City owned Stockade property located in
Section 26, Township 53 South, Range 40 East - Dade County
as stipulated in the City Deed of Conveyance attached hereto
and by reference made a part hereof, said conveyance to be
made for a sure of one dollar and good and valuable considera-
tions.
Passed and adopted this 16th day of March, 1972.
