A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
MARCH 1, 1972, OF TELEPHONE CONCEPTS,
INC. FOR FURNISHING
AND INSTALLING A NEIGHBORHOOD ROBBERY
ALERT SYSTEM AT A TOTAL COST OF $ 10, 997. 00
THE FUNDS FOR WHICH ARE PROVIDED THROUGH A
FEDERAL GRANT ENTITLED "MIAMI POLICE ROBBERY
CONTROL PROJECT", AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECT-
ING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHAS-
ING AGENT OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO ISSUE A
PURCHASE ORDER THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, bids were received on March 1, 1972, by the
City Manager and City Clerk for the furnishing and installing
of a Neighborhood Robbery Alert System, the funds for which
will be provided through a Federal Grant entitled "Miami
Police Robbery Control Project"; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
TELEPHONE CONCEPTS, INC.
is the best (acceptable)
bid and recommends that the same be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received March 1, 1972, of
TELEPHONE CONCEPTS, INC. for furnishing and
installing a Neighborhood Robbery Alert System at a total cost
of $ 10, 997. 00
, the funds for which will be provided
through a Federal Grant entitled "Miami Police Robbery Control
Project", be, and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to instruct the Purchasing Agent of the City of Miami

to issue a purchase order for the item described in Section
1 above.
