HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-43353F e s /fl 3/io/72 '72 MAR 13 AM 9:03 RESOLUTION NO. 7 0 0 A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID RECEIVED MARCH 3, 1972, OF CENTURY ARMS, INC., 8101 BISCAYNE BOULEVARD, MIAMI, FLORIDA, FOR THE SALE OF 501 FIREARMS OF VARIOUS MAKES AND CALIBERS CONFISCATED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF POLICE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, AT A TOTAL BID OF $2,133.32. WHEREAS, bids were received by the City Manager and City Clerk on March 3, 1972 for the sale of 501 firearms of various makes and calibers confiscated by the Department of Police of the City of Miami; and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of Century Arms, Inc. was the highest and best (acceptable) bid received and recommends the sale of said firearms, subject to the terms and conditions hereinafter provided; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the bid of Century Arms, Inc., 8101 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, Florida, for the sale of 501 fire- arms of various makes and calibers confiscated by the Depart- ment of Police of the City of Miami, at a total bid of $2,133.32, be and the same is hereby accepted. Section 2. Section 3. That the City Manager shall require such other acts to be done by Century Arms, Inc. as he deems in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Miami.
