A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
FEBRUARY 15, 1972, OF NATIONAL LINEN SERVICE
FOR FURNISHING RENTAL LINEN SERVICE, AS
REQUIRED, AT THE PRICES LISTED HEREIN, FOR
THE PERIOD MARCH 1, 1972 THROUGH FEBRUARY 28,
1973, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING AGENT OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS,
AS REQUIRED, AFTER FIRST HAVING DETERMINED
THAT FUNDS BUDGETED FOR THIS PURPOSE ARE
AVAILABLE.
WHEREAS, bids were received February 15, 1972, by the
City Manager and City Clerk for furnishing rental linen
service, as required, for the period March 1, 1972 through
February 28, 1973; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
National Linen Service, is the best (acceptable) bid and
recommends that the same be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received February 15, 1972, of
National Linen Service, for furnishing rental linen service,
as required, at the following listed prices, for the period
March 1, 1972 through February 28, 1973:

Sheets
Pillow cases
Bath towels
Rags
Roller towels
Indiv. towels
Doc's uniforms
Nurses uniforms
Kitchen towels
be, and the same is hereby accepted.

Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to instruct the Purchasing Agent of the City
of Miami to issue purchase orders, as required, after first
having determined that funds budgeted for this purpose are
available. ,_
