A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO SUBMIT A FEDERAL GRANT APPLICATION TO
THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, LAW ENFORCEMENT
ADMINISTRATION, TO INITIATE A PROJECT EN-
TITLED "MIAMI POLICE MANPOWER ALLOCATION
AND EVALUATION PROJECT", AND FURTHER AUTHOR-
IZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS THEREBY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
submit a Federal Grant Application to the Department of
Justice, Law Enforcement Administration, to initiate a
project entitled "Miami Police Manpower Allocation and
Evaluation Project".
Section 2. The City Manager is further authorized to
accept the Grant and execute contracts and agreements neces-
sary to implement the project in anticipation of approval of
this program, and subject to receipt of the Federal f ds.
