A RESOLUTION GRANTING A "CONDITIONAL USE"
AS PROVIDED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE
XI-2, SECTION 1 (7)(d), TO PERMIT ESTABLISH-
MENT OF RESTAURANT IN PROPOSED BUILDING TO
BE CONSTRUCTED ON LOT€ 14 THRU 25, BLOCK 2,
AND INCLUDED ALLEYS, POINT VIEW AMD (2 .93) ,
MICAIN AS TENTATIVE PLAT #804, DESIGNATED AS
"FORTE PLAZA", LOCATED AT 1425 BRICKELL
AVENUE, IN AN R-CB (RESIDENCE OFFICE) DISTRICT,
SUBJECT TO NO SIGN BEING PLACED ON OUTSIDE
OF BUILDING
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board of the City
of Miami, at its meeting held on February 28, 1972, passed
and adopted by an 8 to 1 vote its Resolution No. 72-42,
recommending granting a "Conditional flee" as provided in
Ordinance No. 6871, Article XI-2, Section 1 (7)(d), as
hereinafter set forth; and this Commission deems it advisable
for the public convenience and welfare and finds that the use
will not be detrimental or injurious to the character of the
development of the immediate neighborhood;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the application for a "Conditional Use"
as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article XI-2, Section 1 (7)
(d), to permit establishment of restaurant in proposed building
to be constructed on Lots 14 thru 25, Block 2, and included
alleys, POINT VIEW AMD, Plat Book 2, Page 93, known as
Tentative plat *804, designated as "FORTE PLAZA", located at
1425 Brickell Avenue, in an R-CB (Residence Office) District,
be and the same is hereby granted , subject to no sign being
placed on the exterior of the building.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of March, 1972.

Gentlemen:
The Miami Planning Board, at its_ meeting_of February_28R 1972,
Item #54 following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No.
72-42 by an 8 to 1 vote recommending "Conditional Use" as listed
in Ordinance o: 6811,- I" C` If -2., Section 1 (7) , to per-
mit establishment of Restaurant in proposed building to be con-
structed on Lots 14 thru 25, Block 2, and included alleys,POINT
VIEW AMID (2-93), known as Tentative Plat #804 - "FORTE PLAZA",
located at 1425 Brickell Avenue; zoned R-CB (Residence -Office).
One objection was received in the mail.
A RESOLUTION to provide for this "Conditional Use" has been pre-
pared by the City Attorney's office and submitted for considera-
tion of the City Commission.
