RESOLUTION NO. ,9
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED CON-
STRUCTION OF CLIFTON LIGHTSEY, INC. FOR
CORAL WAY HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4344 IN
CORAL WAY HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-4344 AT A TOTAL COST OF $9,949.85; AND
AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $994.99.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated November 17, 1971
between the City of Miami and Clifton Lightsey, Inc. for the
construction of CORAL WAY HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4344; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed and
Clifton Lightsey, Inc. has furnished the required documents
certifying that all bills for labor, materials, etc. have been
paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Com-
mission on March 16, 1972 to hear any objections to the completed
improvements and no objections were sustained; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends that
the completed work be accepted and final payment made to the
Contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by Clifton
Lightsey, Inc. under contract dated November 17, 1971 for the
construction of CORAL WAY HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4344, in CORAL
WAY HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4344, be and the same is
hereby accepted at a total cost of $9,949.85.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami
are hereby authorized and directed to pay Clifton Lightsey, Inc.

a balance of $994.99 as full and final payment for all work
performed and all materials furnished in connection with the
