RESOLUTION NO. &'3 1'
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED CON-
STRUCTION OF O'KEEFE ASPHALT PAVEMENTS, INC.
FOR HILLSIDE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4333 IN
HILLSIDE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4333
AT A TOTAL COST OF $112,605.35; AND AUTHOR-
IZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $15,454.54.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated June 10, 1971
between the City of Miami and O'Keefe Asphalt Pavements, Inc.
for the construction of HILLSIDE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4333;
and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed and
O'Keefe Asphalt Pavements, Inc. has furnished the required
documents certifying that all bills for labor, materials, etc.
have been paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract;
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Com-
mission on March 16, 1972 to hear any objections to the completed
improvements and no objections were sustained; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends that
the completed work be accepted and final payment made to the
Contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by O'Keefe
Asphalt Pavements, Inc. under contract dated June 10, 1971
for the construction of HILLSIDE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4333
in HILLSIDE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4333, be and the same

is hereby accepted at a total cost of $112,605,35.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami
are hereby authorized and directed to pay O'Keefe Asphalt
Pavements, Inc, a balance of $15,454.54 as full and final
payment for all work performed and all materials furnished
in connection with the contract for HILLSIDE HIGHWAY IMPROVE-
MENT H-4333 in HILLSIDE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4333.
