Bids will.not be opened until a Federal Grant has been obtained. When bids are opened it Will be done publicly at a Commission meeting and if the time is different than the above meeting, all bidders will be notified of the date, time and place of opening. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications and Forms of Bid Bond and Performance Bond may be examined at the Depart' meet of Public Works, 3332 Pan American Drive, Miami Florida 33133. Plansand Specifications are to be returned to good order and unmarked within thirty OW bis have been recieved. A charge of $50.00per set will be made for Plans and Specifications not returned within the thirty (30) day period. The City Commission reserves the right to waive any informality in any Bid, and the City Manager may reject any or all Bids, and readvertise. Proposal includes the time of performance and Specifications contain provisions for liquidated damages for failure to complete the work on time. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information to Bidders and in the Supplemental General Conditions. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after actual date of the opening thereof, unless modified in Division 2 - Special Conditions of the Specifications. The estimated cost of this project is $603,500 with $262,500 participation by the Dept. of Housing & Urban Develop- ment. M.L.
