A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF DE BRA
TURF & EQUIPMENT CO. AND OF STANLEY CLARKE
EQUIPMENT COMPANY, RECEIVED JANUARY 18, 1972,
FOR FURNISHING AND DELIVERING MISCELLANEOUS
GREENS AND FAIRWAY TURF MAINTENANCE FOR
LE JEUNE AND MIAMI SPRINGS GOLF COURSES, AS
HEREINAFTER SET FORTH, FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT OF
$7,298.95; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING AGENT
TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, bids were received by the City Manager and
the City Clerk on January 18, 1972, for furnishing and
delivering miscellaneous Greens and Fairway Turf maintenance
for LeJeune and Miami Springs Golf Courses; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
DE BRA TURF & EQUIPMENT CO. be accepted as the lowest bid
(acceptable) for six items, as hereinafter set forth, and
of STANLEY CLARKE EQUIPMENT COMPANY be accepted as the lowest
bid (acceptable) for one item, as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid of DE BRA TURF & EQUIPMENT CO.,
for six items, for a total amount of $5,803.95, be and the
same is hereby accepted as follows:
1 - 36" Mower $ 1,595.00
1 - Edger 154.95
2 - Vertical Mower Ass'y. 940.00
1 - Aerator 1,565.00
1 - 72" Mower 950.00
1 - Fertilizer Spreader 599.00
Total $ 5,803.95

Section 2. That the bid of STANJEY CLARKE EQUIPMENT
COMPANY, for one item, for a total amount of $1,495.00, be
and the same is hereby accepted as follows:
1 Sand Trap Raker $1,495.00
Section 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to instruct the Purchasing Agent for the City of
Miami to issue purchase orders for the items provided for
in Sections 1 and 2 hereof, for a total amount of $7,298.95.
