AMOU,T OF $90,900.00 FOR THE ORANGE BOWL -SPIRAL
R''.I DECK REPLACEMENT - 1972; ALLOCATING AN
AiDITIONAL $34,000.00; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
;TANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT THEREFOR
WHEREAS, bids were received February 29, 1972 for
the ORANGE BOWL - SPIRAL RAMP DECK REPLACEMENT - 1972; and
WHEREAS, although certain funds for this work were
allocated by Resolution No. 43177 an additional $34,000 is needed
to award the bid and funds are available for appropriation from the
Orange Bowl Fund balance; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports thatthe bid of
C. A. Davis, Inc. in the amount of $90,900. is the lowest bid
(acceptable) and recommends that contract be awarded to said
company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of C. A. Davis, Inc. received
February 29, 1972 for the ORANGE BOWL - SPIRAL RAMP DECK
REPLACEMENT - 1972, namely Base Bid of Proposal, based on lump sum,
bid, at a total estimated cost of $90,900.00 be, and the same is

Section 2. ,That an additional $34,000.00 be, and it
