A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
JANUARY 5, 1972, OF MIDWEST TELECOMMUNI-
CATIONS, D/B/A MECO A/V FOR FURNISHING,
INSTALLING, AND TESTING MISCELLANEOUS
VIDEO EQUIPMENT FOR THE POLICE ROBBERY
UNIT OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, AS LISTED HEREUNDER, AT A TOTAL
COST OF $43,918.00 PLUS A MAINTENANCE
SERVICE COST OF $1,500.00 PER YEAR, BEGIN-
NING NINETY (90) DAYS AFTER ACCEPTANCE BY
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FUNDS FOR WHICH ARE
PROVIDED THROUGH A FEDERAL GRANT ENTITLED
"MIAMI POLICE ROBBERY CONTROL PROJECT" AND
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER
TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING AGENT OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, a bid was received on January 5, 1972, by
the City Manager and City Clerk for the furnishing, install-
ing, and testing miscellaneous video equipment for use by the
Police Robbery Unit of the Police Department of the City of
Miami, the funds for which will be provided through a Federal
Grant, entitled "Miami Police Robbery Control Project"; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
Midwest Telecommunications, D/B/A MECO A/V, is the best (accept-
able) bid and recommends that said bid be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received January 5, 1972, of Midwest
Telecommunications, D/B/A MECO A/V for furnishing, installing,
and testing miscellaneous video equipment for use by the

Police Robbery Unit of the Police Department of the City
of Miami, as listed hereunder, at a total cost of $43,918.00
plus a maintenance service cost of $1,500.00 per year begin-
ning ninety (90) days after acceptance by the City of Miami,
the funds for which will be provided through a Federal Grant
entitled "Miami Police Robbery Control Project":
