A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
FEBRUARY 9, 1972, OF AMERICAN LA FRANCE
SALES AND SERVICE, FOR FURNISHING EIGHT
(8) REINFORCED FIBERGLASS TOPS FOR THE
APPARATUS AS LISTED HEREUNDER FOR USE
BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, AT A COST OF $1,295.00 PER UNIT
OR A TOTAL COST OF $10,360,00, AND AUTHOR-
IZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING AGENT OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, a bid was received on February 9, 1972, by
the City Manager and City Clerk for the purchasing of eight
(8) reinforced fiberglass tops for the apparatus as listed
hereunder for use by the Fire Department of the City of
Miami; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
American LaFrance Sales and Service, is the best (acceptable)
bid and recommends that said bid be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received February 9, 1972, of
American LaFrance Sales and Service for furnishing eight (8)
reinforced fiberglass tops for the apparatus as listed here-
under for use by the Fire Department of the City of Miami:

Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to instruct the Purchasing Agent of the City of Miami
to issue a purchase order for the items described in Section 1
above.
