A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
FEBRUARY 11, 1972, OF CENTRAL CONCRETE
OF MEDLEY, INC., FOR FURNISHING READY
MIX CONCRETE, AS REQUIRED, FOR THE PERIOD
MARCH 15, 1972 THROUGH MARCH 14, 1973, AT
A DELIVERED PRICE OF $17.80 PER CUBIC YARD,
AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING AGENT
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO ISSUE PURCHASE
ORDERS, AS REQUIRED, SUBJECT TO THE AVAIL-
ABILITY OF FUNDS FOR THIS PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, bids were received on February 11, 1972, by
the City Manager and City Clerk for the furnishing of ready
mix concrete, as required, for the period March 15, 1972
through March 14, 1973; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
Central Concrete of Medley, Inc., is the best (acceptable)
bid and recommends that the same be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received February 11, 1972, of
Central Concrete of Medley, Inc., for furnishing ready mix
concrete, as required, for the period March 15, 1972 through
March 14, 1973, at a delivered price of $17.80 per cubic yard,
be, and the same is, hereby accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to instruct the Purchasing Agent of the City of Miami

to issue purchase orders for the item described in Section
1 above, as required, subject to the availability of funds
for this purpose. v�
