A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO MAKE PAYMENT TO S. Z. BENNETT APPRAISAL
COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF FIFTEEN THOUSAND
FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($15, 500. 00) FOR APPRAISAL
SERVICES FOR FOUR (4) BAYFRONT PROPERTIES
WHICH WERE REQUESTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
THROUGH RESOLUTION NO. 42746 AND RESOLUTION
NO. 43059.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 42746 dated September 9, 1971,
was adopted by the City Commission providing for the appraisal
of three parcels of property identified as:
Parcel #I - Florida East Coast Railway Company
Parcel #II - St. Joe Paper Company
Parcel #III - Edison Holdings Limited (Fields) ;
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 43059 dated December 9, 1971,
was adopted by the City Commission requesting that appraisal be
made of the Coconut Grove Marina, Inc. property;
WHEREAS, such appraisals have been completed and delivered
to the City of Miami;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager be, and is hereby, author-
ized to make payment to S. Z. Bennett Appraisal Company in the amount
of $15, 500. 00 for appraisal services for four (4) Bayfront properties
which were requested by the City Commission through Resolution No.
42746 and Resolution No. 43059.
Section 2. Tnat the proper City Officials are hereby
authorized to transfer the sum of $15,400.00 from the contingent
fund to the proper fund in order to accomplish the purposes
set forth in Section 1 hereof.
