A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CITY MANAGER'S
RECOMMENDATIONS AS CONTAINED IN HIS MEMO-
RANDUM OF JANUARY 6, 1972, WITH REFERENCE
TO THE SELECTION OF A CONSULTANT TO PERFORM
THE MANAGEMENT STUDY FOR THE MODERNIZATION
OF THE DEPARTMENT OF POLICE, AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE
AND ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH THE RECOM-
MENDED FIRM.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager's recommendations as contained
in his memorandum of January 6, 1972, with reference to the
selection of a Consultant to perform the Management Study for the
Modernization of the Department of Police are hereby adopted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate
and enter into agreement with the recommended firm.
