A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID RECEIVED FEBRUARY
14, 1972 OF J. P. EQUIPMENT, INC.
IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $ 201,800.
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CENTRAL DRAINAGE PROJECT
E-25; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $ 226,000
FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "STORM SEWER BOND FUND";
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT THEREFOR,
WHEREAS, bids were received February 14, 1972 for the
construction of CENTRAL DRAINAGE PROJECT E-25, and
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $ 226,000
are available for allocation from the account entitled
"Storm Sewer Bond Fund", and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
J. P. Equipment, Inc.
is the lowest bid (acceptable) and recommends that contract
be awarded to said company,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Bid of J. P. Equipment, Inc.
received February 14, 1972 for the construction of CENTRAL
DRAINAGE PROJECT E-25, namely Base Bid of Proposal,
based on unit prices, at a total estimated cost of
$ 201,800 is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The amount of $ 226,000 is hereby
allocated from the account entitled "Storm Sewer Bond Fund"
to cover the cost of the project.
Section 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into a contract in behalf of The Ci.ty,efY'" :�
