RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID RECEIVED FEBRUARY
14, 1972 OF BISCAYNE CONSTRUCTION, INC.
IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $ 28,834.
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE ORANGE BOWL STADIUM
- JOIST REPAIRS - 1972; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, bids were received February 14, 1972 for the
ORANGE BOWL STADIUM - JOIST REPAIRS - 1972, and
WHEREAS, funds for this work were allocated by Resolution
No. 43177, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
Biscayne Construction, Inc.
in the amount of $ 28,834.
is the lowest bid (acceptable) and recommends that contract
be awarded to said company,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of Biscayne Construction, Inc.
received February 14, 1972 for the ORANGE BOWL STADIUM -
JOIST REPAIRS - 1972, namely Base Bid of Proposal,
based on lump sum bid, at a total estimated cost of
$ 28,834. is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into a contract in behalf of the City of
Miami for the ORANGE BOWL STADIUM - JOIST REPAIRS - 1972.
