A RESOLUTION GRANTING A "CONDITIONAL USE"
AS PROVIDED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE
X, SECTION 1 (6)(b), TO PERMIT OPERATION
OF PRIVATE CLUB, KNOWN AS "COMMODORES' ROW-
ING AND SAILING CLUB", ON LOT 4 AND OUTLOT
4, BLOCK 2, POINT VIEW AMENDED (2-93), FOR
A TWO-YEAR PERIOD SUBJECT TO PARKING LAYOUT
AS APPROVED BY PLANNING DEPARTMENT, LOCATED
AT 1402 BAYSHORE DRIVE, IN AN R-5 (HIGH
DENSITY MULTIPLE) DISTRICT', SUBJECT TO DEDI-
CATION OF NECESSARY RIGHT OF WAY FOR STREET
PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board of the City
of Miami, at its meeting held on January 24, 1972, passed
and adopted by an 8 to 0 vote its Resolution No. 72-25,
recommending granting a "Conditional Use" as provided in
Ordinance No. 6871, Article X, Section 1 (6)(b), as here-
inafter set forth; and this Commission deems it advisable
for the public convenience and welfare and finds that the
use will not be detrimental or injurious to the character
of the development of the immediate neighborhood;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the application for a "Conditional
Use" as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article X, Section
1 (6)(b), to permit operation of private club, known as
"Commodores' Rowing and Sailing Club", on Lot 4 and Outlot 4,
Block 2, POINT VIEW AMENDED, Plat Book 2, Page 93, for a
two-year period, subject to parking layout as approved by

Planning Department, located at 1402 Bayshore Drive,
in an R-5 (High Density Multiple) District, be and the
same is hereby grant��
PASSED AND ADOPTED this/7 day of__:1.e�, 1972e

Gentlemen:
The Miami Planning Board, atitsmeeting of January 24, 1972,
Item #8 (a), following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution
No. 72-25 by an _8.. to 0_,vote (one member absent) recommending for
a two-year period, subject to parking layout as approved by the
Planning Department, the "Conditional Use" as listed in Ordinance
No. 6871, ARTICLE X, Section 1 (6) (b), to permit operation of
private club, known as "Commodores' Rowing and Sailing Club",
on Lot 4 and Outlot 4, Block 2, POINT VIEW AMENDED (2-93),
located at 1402 Bayshore Drive; zoned R-5 (High Density Multiple).
No objections were received in the mail.
A RESOLUTION to provide for this "Conditional Use" has been
prepared by the City Attorney's office and submitted for con-
sideration of the City Commission.
