A RESOLUTION GRANTING A "CONDITIONAL USE"
AS PROVIDED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE
VIII, SECTION 1 (11)(c), TO PERMIT USE OF
STRUCTURE ON SE'LY 100' OF NW'LY 225' OF
LOTS 5 AND 6, BLOCK 40, NEW BISCAYNE AMENDED
(B-16), FOR MEDICAL -DENTAL OFFICES, WITH
SE'LY SETBACK OF 12' (20' REQUIRED), AND
WITH NE'LY SETBACK OF 12' (20' REQUIRED),
SUBJECT TO NO MORE THAN TWO MEDICAL OR
DENTAL OFFICES, LOCATED AT 3225 DARWIN
STREET, IN AN R-4 (MEDIUM DENSITY MULTIPLE)
DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of
Miami, at its meeting held on January 24, 1972, passed and
adopted by an 8 to 0 vote its Resolution No. 72-20, recom-
mending granting a "Conditional Use" as provided in Ordinance
No. 6871, Article VIII, Section 1 (11)(c), as hereinafter
set forth; and this Commission deems it advisable in the
public convenience and welfare and finds that the use will
not be detrimental or injurious to the character of the de-
velopment of the immediate neighborhood;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the application for a "Conditional
Use" as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article VIII,
Section 1 (11)(c), to permit use of structure on SE'ly 100'
of NW'ly 225' of Lots 5 and 6, Block 40, NEW BISCAYNE AMENDED,
Plat Book B, Page 16, for Medical -Dental offices, with SE'ly
setback of 12' (20' required), and with NE'ly setback of 12'

Gentlemen:
The Miami Planning Board, at its meeting of January 24, 1972, Item
#3, following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No. 72-20
by an 8 to._04vote jone member absent) ,Mrecommending subject to no
more than two medical or dental offices, the "Conditional Use"
listed in Ordinance No. 687r,'AR'!'ICLE VIII, Section 1 (11) (c), to
permit use of structure on SE'ly 100' of NW'ly 225' of Lots 5 and
6, Block 40, NEW BISCAYNE AMENDED (B-16), located at 3225 Darwin Street,
for Medical -Dental offices, with SE'ly setback of 12' (20' required);
zoned R-4 (Medium Density Multiple).
Three objections were received in the mail.
A RESOLUTION to provide for this "Conditional Use" has been prepared
by the City Attorney's office and submitted for consideration of the
City Commission.
