A RESOLUTION GRANTING A "CONDITIONAL USE"
AS PROVIDED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE
XVI, SECTION 1 (37)(a), TO PERMIT AUTOMOTIVE
PAINT AND BODY SHOP ON LOT 41, WESTERN BOULE-
VARD TRACT (1-108), AT APPROXIMATELY 160 N.E.
29TH STREET, SUBJECT TO NO OPENINGS IN THE
SOUTH WALL, VENTING THROUGH THE ROOF, DRIVE-
WAY RELOCATED TO THE SIDE OF LOT OPPOSITE
PARKING SPACES, PROPOSED STRUCTURE TO BE
CONSTRUCTED TO THE SOUTH LOT LINE IN ACCORD-
ANCE WITH PLAN ON FILE WITH THE PLANNING
BOARD OFFICE, LOCATED IN A C-4 (GENERAL COM-
MERCIAL) DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of
Miami, at its meeting held on January 24, 1972, passed and
adopted by an 8 to 0 vote its Resolution No. 72-18, recom-
mending a "Conditional Use" as provided in Ordinance No. 6871,
Article XVI, Section 1 (37)(a), as hereinafter set forth; and
this Commission deems it advisable for the public convenience
and welfare and finds that the use will not be detrimental or
injurious to the character of the development of the immediate
neighborhood;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the application for a "Conditional Use"
as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article XVI, Section 1 (37)
(a), to permit automotive paint and body shop on Lot 41,
WESTERN BOULEVARD TRACT, Plat Book 1, Page 108, at approximately
160 N. E. 29th Street, subject to no openings in the South wall,
venting through the roof, driveway relocated to the side of

lot opposite parking spaces, proposed structure to be
constructed to the South lot line in accordance with plan
on file with the Planning Board Office, located in a C-4
(General Commercial) District, be and the same is hereby
granted.

by an 8 to 0 vote (one member absent) recommending "Conditional
Use" as listed in Ordinance No. 6871, ARTICLE XVI, Section 1 (37)
(a), to permit automotive paint and body shop on Lot 41, WESTERN
BOULEVARD TRACT (1-108), at approximately 160 N. E. 29th Street,
subject to no openings in the south wall, venting through the roof,
driveway relocated to the side of lot opposite parking spaces,
proposed structure to be constructed to the south lot line in accord-
ance with plan on file with the Planning Board office; zoned C-4
(General Commercial).
One objection was received in the mail.
A RESOLUTION to provide for this "Conditional Use" has been prepared
by the City Attorney's office and submitted for consideration of the
City Commission.
