A RESOLUTION GRANTING A "CONDITIONAL USE"
AS PROVIDED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE
XV, SECTION 2 (8)(a), TO PERMIT INTERIM
PARKING LOT ON LOTS 38, 39 AND PORTION OF
BLOCK B, FORT DALLAS PARK (4-85), TO BE
PAVED WITH OIL AND SAND, WAIVING INTERIOR
AND CERTAIN EXTERIOR LANDSCAPING REQUIRE-
MENTS, FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR, LOCATED
AT S. W. CORNER S. E. 4TH STREET AND S. E.
2ND AVENUE, IN A C-3 (CENTRAL COMMERCIAL)
DISTRICT' SUBJECT TO THE CITY COMMISSION
RE-EVALUATING THIS MATTER AT THE END OF
SIX MONTHS TO DETERMINE WHETHER ADEQUATE

LOT REGULATIONS SHOULD BE PROVIDED
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board of the City
of Miami, at its meeting held on January 10, 1972, passed
and adopted by a 9 to 0 vote its Resolution No. 72-6, re-
commending granting a "Conditional Use", as provided in
Ordinance No. 6871, Article XV, Section 2 (8)(a), as here-
inafter set forth; and this Commission deems it advisable
to the public convenience and welfare and finds that the
use will not be detrimental or injurious to the character
of the development of the immediate neighborhood;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the application for a "Conditional
Use" as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article XV, Section
2 (8)(a), to permit interim parking lot on Lots 38, 39 and
portion of Block B, FORT DALLAS PARK, Plat Book 4, Page 85,
to be paved with oil and sand, waiving interior and certain
exterior landscaping requirements, for a period of one year,

located at S. W. Corner S. E. 4th Street and Se E. 2nd
Avenue, in a C-3 (Central Commercial) District, be and
the same is hereby granted/

! subject to the City Commission re-evaluating this matter at
the end of six months to determine whether adequate lighting
under the proposed new parking lot regulations should be pro-
vided.
