RESOLUTION NO. --x. y
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE AND RECORD A RIGHT OF WAY DEED
FOR A TWENTY -FOOT STRIP OF LAND NEEDED
FOR WIDENING S. W. 22ND AVENUE AT THE
SITE OF DISCONTINUED FIRE STATION NO. 7.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami owns Lots 9, 8 and a
portion of Lot 7 of W. H. SNIPES SUBDIVISION (3-107),
located on the east side of S. W. 22nd Avenue north of
Tigertail Avenue, on which site exists the discontinued Fire
Station No. 7; and
WHEREAS, the west twenty feet of this property is
within the seventy-foot zoned width of S. W. 22nd Avenue. It
is desired that this strip of land be dedicated to THE PUBLIC
to bring the Avenue up to full zoned width at this location.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute and record a Right
of Way Deed for a twenty -foot strip of land needed for widening
S. W. 22nd Avenue at the site of discontinued Fire Station No.
7 as more particularly described in said Right of Way Deed
attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof.
